Plant History: Facility was completed and production began in 1995. The Ram Mega Cab was launched in August 2005. The DC Chassis Cab was launched in August 2006. The award-winning 2009 Ram 1500 was launched in 2008, followed by the all-new Ram Heavy Duty in 2009. Production of the new 2011 Chassis Cab began in 2010. 

The plant transitioned to a 3-2-120 operating pattern - three crews working two 10 hour shifts over four days for a total of 120 production hours per week - in September 2015.

World Class Manufacturing Accomplishments
In December 2012, Saltillo Truck achieved the bronze award level in World Class Manufacturing (WCM). WCM is a methodology that focuses on eliminating waste, increasing productivity, and improving quality and safety in a systematic and organized way. It engages the workforce to provide and implement suggestions on how to improve their jobs and their plants.
