Pencils down! Votes have been made and the results are in for the FCA 2018 Drive for Design contest. Three talented high school students from Miami, Florida, and Buffalo, New York, have earned top honors in the 2018 Drive for Design contest, sponsored by the FCA US Product Design Office.

This is the 10th year the Company has earned a place among the magazine’s top 50 or most noteworthy companies for diversity since the benchmarks were established in 2001. It is the second consecutive year that FCA US earned a position on the magazine’s top companies for veterans list, which was established in 2017.

FCA US LLC today reported sales of 184,149 vehicles, a 5 percent increase compared with sales in April 2017 of 176,176 vehicles. Overall sales were pushed by the Jeep® brand which reported record sales for April.

FCA US LLC will honor the legacy of the Dodge Viper as part of two initiatives announced today. First, the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant, the former production home of the iconic Dodge Viper, will get a second life as an internal meeting and display space that will showcase the Company’s concept and historic vehicle collection. Second, the Company is kicking off an auction of Viper memorabilia to benefit the United Way of Southeastern Michigan.

FCA US LLC announced today that 468 Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships have earned the 2018 Customer First Award for Excellence designation. The selected dealerships achieved the highest level of customer experience recognition in the program’s five core areas: People, Facility, Processes, Customer Performance Metrics and Training Certification.

The FCA México Saltillo Van Assembly Plant is celebrating after being honored with a silver award in the Company’s World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology. The plant, which produces the Ram ProMaster, has been recognized for its efforts in expanding WCM throughout the facility.

FCA US LLC today reported sales of 165,903 vehicles in February 2018, a 1 percent decrease compared with sales in February 2017 of 168,326 vehicles. Fleet sales for the month fell by 3 percent and accounted for 26 percent of total sales.

Tim Kuniskis is named Head of Alfa Romeo and Maserati brands globally. Kuniskis, a 26-year veteran of FCA, most recently served as Head of Passenger Car brands in North America, which includes Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat and SRT. In a related move, Steve Beahm is named Head of Passenger Car brands in North America, replacing Kuniskis.
