FCA Canada today reported second-quarter 2020 sales of 33,718 vehicles, a decrease from 63,410 sold in Q2 2019. Jeep® brand was a quarterly highlight, thanks to the midsize Gladiator pickup truck, which continues to gain traction in the marketplace despite challenging conditions.

FCA Canada's donation consisted of an FCA Transport truck loaded with six full pallets of non-perishable food, valued at $12,000. The committee is asking residents of Windsor and Essex County to place non-perishable donations on their front doorsteps on Saturday, June 27 for volunteers to collect, as well as at dedicated drop-off locations throughout the city and county.

Quarterly highlights include a spike in Ram Heavy Duty pickup truck sales, up 50 per cent to 3,282. Overall Ram pickup truck sales were flat year over year with 19,179 sold during the quarter. Additionally, Dodge Grand Caravan sales of 8,408 represent a 2 per cent increase from Q1 of 2019.

FCA is expanding its coronavirus relief efforts, focused on two principal areas: charities providing food services to children and support for a range of technical, logistical and manufacturing programs, such as face mask production. Starting immediately, FCA will help provide more than 1 million meals to school children in the communities around our manufacturing plants in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is stepping in to help those at the front line of the coronavirus pandemic by manufacturing and donating more than 1 million protective face masks per month. Production capacity is being installed this week and the company will start manufacturing face masks in the coming weeks with initial distribution across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Working with Unifor and listening to the concerns of our people, we have agreed to cease production at our plants across North America, starting progressively from today. While production is paused, the Company will put actions into place to facilitate the steps agreed through the joint task-force set up between Unifor and the automakers.
