Chrysler Group will voluntarily recall approximately 240,000 minivans from the 2001-2002 model years to address a potential issue with water intrusion into the radio (no vehicles built at Graz affected). In a separate action, Chrysler Group will recall approximately 11,100 Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Stratus sedans from the 2005 model year.

This month, Dodge is introducing a new Special Edition series for its lineup of cars and minivans. Special Edition packages will be available on 2005 Dodge Neon, Stratus Coupe, Stratus Sedan, Magnum, Caravan and Grand Caravan SXT models.

Led by a 14 percent surge in retail sales, Chrysler Group reported U.S. sales of 168,744 units for September 2004, an increase of 10 percent over September 2003 when 147,114 units were sold. September's results mark 11 of the past 12 months that Chrysler Group has achieved positive year-over-year sales gains.
