Walter P. Chrysler Museum Gift Shop Stocks Collectibles to Celebrate "Dodge Legends: The Trucks" Special Exhibition

Visitors to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum’s latest exhibition "Dodge Legends: The Trucks," can create their own bit of lore at home with a host of exclusive and hard-to-find collectibles from the Museum’s gift shop.

"Dodge Legends: The Trucks" is a collection of the fastest, strongest, most powerful and capable trucks to ever wear the Dodge badge. The exhibition, which showcases 18 legendary vehicles, runs through Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005.

Well-read truck fans can choose from a variety of books, from historic photo retrospectives to restoration manuals with detailed illustrations. The selection ($18.95-$34.95) features Dodge’s earliest trucks, including military vehicles, through the brand’s more recent Ram models.

For the collector, the gift shop offers a series of die-cast models in 1:12 - 1:24 sizes. The heritage collection includes such classics as the 1964 and 1998 Dodge Pick-up and the 1978 Li’l Red Express. The shop also carries more recent models, such as the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. Die-cast model prices begin at $14.95 for the smaller trucks; up to $165 for the 1:12 scale models.

The Walter P. Chrysler Museum gift shop is also stocked with a variety of Dodge collectibles and souvenirs ($9.95 - $30) including T-shirts and Ram and HEMI® logo hats, a truck-shaped computer mouse, men’s and women’s watches, a tire desk clock, “Dodge Parking Only” signs and glassware adorned with Dodge’s familiar Ram’s head logo. The gift shop is located on the first floor of the museum and is open during regular Museum hours: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday and noon - 6 p.m. Sunday. Discounts are available to Friends of Chrysler Heritage members. Checks, MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
