Jeep® and Ram Truck brand vehicles cleaned up at the 24th annual “Mudfest” competition hosted by the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA). Jeep and Ram won three of the six vehicle categories with the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler taking home top honors, being voted “Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year” by automotive journalist members of NWAPA.

FCA US LLC wraps the 2018 North American International Auto Show taking home five Automotive Loyalty Awards from IHS Markit. The Jeep® brand was recognized by IHS Markit for the second year in a row for having the highest conquest performance. According to an IHS Markit U.S. owner loyalty analysis, Jeep had the best segment-adjusted conquest performance within the competitive set during the 2017 model year.

The 2018 Dodge Charger – for the fourth time in four years – and the 2018 Jeep® Wrangler have each earned a Residual Value Award from ALG, the industry benchmark for residual values and depreciation data. The Charger earned its 2018 ALG award in the “Full-size Car” segment, while the Wrangler win is in the “Off-road Utility” segment.

During an event today at the Sterling Stamping Plant to dedicate three new stamping press lines, FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne announced that as a result of a $166 million investment, the sheet metal for the next generation Jeep® Wrangler will be stamped in-house, a first for the 51-year-old suburban Detroit plant.
