Approximately 400 attendees, including top executives from the auto industry’s global supply base, were present for the awards ceremony. Weighing 6 pounds, 8 ounces and standing 16 inches tall, the trophy is constructed of automotive components such as rubber, glass, metal and wood. Since 2002, Chrysler (formerly DaimlerChrysler) has called upon CCS students to design a unique commemorative trophy. Pavlovski, a Detroit native, was awarded $3,000 for submitting this year’s winning design. Currently he resides in Boston, Mass., where he designs and builds furniture.
