The Jeep Compass will offer Chinese customers a 1.4-liter FIRE Multiair2 turbo engine coupled with a seven-speed Dual Clutch transmission or the option of a 2.4-liter Tigershark Multiar2 engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is produced in China and for China at the GAC FCA Guangzhou plant. Compass sales in China will start in early 2017.
