At the wheel of his No. 22 Canadian Tire Dodge, he won the A&W Cruisin' The Dub 300 in Vernon, B.C. - his first win since September of 2011.“We didn’t win at all last season and you begin to wonder if you’re ever going to win again,” Steckly said.” To win here at Vernon is great … We just want to keep the momentum going.”The race was the first of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1’s West Coast swing. Held at Vernon’s Motoplex Speedway and Event Park, it was a 300-lap bout dominated by Dodge entries. All but one of the Top 10 cars were from Dodge, with Steckly leading the charge.The series takes only a short break this week, before heading to Auto Clearing Motor Speedway in Saskatoon, Sask.
