The Ewing family from Canton, Mich., will receive a 2012 Chrysler Town & Country minivan Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Milosch’s Palace Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in Auburn Hills, Mich. The family was awarded the minivan last December on the one-hour syndicated weekly talk show, "Anderson," hosted by Anderson Cooper on the holiday segment “Anderson, I Need Your Help for the Holidays!”

Chrysler Group LLC announced today that it received three Polk Automotive Loyalty Awards for the 2011 model year. The Chrysler Town & Country won the “Minivan” category for an eleventh consecutive time, the Dodge Challenger took the “Sports Car” segment for the second year in a row and the entire Jeep Brand took the “Most Improved Loyalty to Make” award.

The newest Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivan models have been named Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for 2012. In addition to receiving top scores in rollover tests, both minivans achieved Good ratings in the areas of frontal, side and rear crash protection.

The Chrysler brand has been named the Most Ideal Popular Brand in AutoPacific’s 2011 Ideal Vehicle Awards based on owner ratings of their 2011 cars and trucks. Chrysler Group LLC is recalling 299,718 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans to replace the Occupant Restraint Control (ORC) modules. The ORC modules may have been exposed to moisture and could eventually experience an illumination of the airbag light with the potential for an inadvertent airbag deployment.

Chrysler Group announced in April it is bringing back the 60-day “Minivan Pledge” to launch Minivan Month, and will continue the successful program through the end of May.

The pledge allows consumers purchasing a new 2011 Chrysler Town & Country or Dodge Grand Caravan minivan during April to return the vehicle, no questions asked, within 60 days. In addition to the pledge, consumers can choose $750 in Customer Cash or attractive financing as low as 2.9 percent for 60 months.
