Plant History: Facility was built in 1942 and purchased by Chrysler Corporation in 1964. Major expansions were implemented in 1965 and 1998. In August 2010, the Company announced it would invest $27.2 million to produce front and rear crossmembers for future vehicles. 

World Class Manufacturing Accomplishments
Etobicoke Casting was awarded bronze status for its efforts in implementing World Class Manufacturing (WCM) on Feb. 28, 2019. WCM is a methodology that focuses on eliminating waste, increasing productivity, and improving quality and safety in a systematic and organized way. WCM engages the workforce to provide and implement suggestions on how to improve their jobs and their plants, promoting a sense of ownership.
