Barbara J. Pilarski was named Head of Business Development, FCA – North America in March 2019, responsible for negotiating and executing strategic partnership arrangements. Pilarski previously served as Head of Human Resources, FCA – North America.
 
Pilarski was Head of Business Development, FCA – North America from 2009 to 2017. She also served as Executive Director – Mergers and Acquisitions, North and South America, Chrysler LLC. In this position, Pilarski was responsible for all aspects of merger, acquisition and divestiture activities affecting North and South America for Chrysler, and formerly DaimlerChrysler, business units.
 
Pilarski joined the Company in 1985 as a Financial Analyst and has held various positions within the Finance organization, including positions in Controlling, Treasury and Mergers and Acquisitions.

In 2015, Pilarski was one of eight women selected by readers of dBusiness for inclusion in the publication’s Powered By Women feature, recognizing the extraordinary contribution of women business leaders creating jobs and economic activity in Southeast Michigan. Also in 2015, Pilarski was named to the Automotive News list of the 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry, an honor she also earned in 2010. In 2013, she received the "Spirit of Leadership Award" from Women's Automotive Association International.
 
Pilarski serves as a board member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Oakland and Macomb Counties and is a member of the 2016 Campaign Cabinet for United Way of Southeastern Michigan.
 
Pilarski earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from Wayne State University (1985) and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan (1988).
